Program overview

This interactive program, modeled after Springboard’s signature Lab program, is designed to address major challenges and opportunities for emerging technology companies: successful market penetration and adoption of their technology into business targets, and obtaining necessary growth capital through structured support and advisory.

The focus of this program will be key areas of emerging technology: blockchain, AI, data science, etc. and the convergence of technologies.

The agenda will be comprised of interactive feedback-driven presentation sessions and roundtable discussions, and will enlist seasoned entrepreneurs, industry executives, investors in emerging tech, and emerging tech experts in the sessions. We will be placing particular focus on business development, regulatory strategy, technology strategy and sources of capital.

The goal of the program is to advance the startups’ successful commercialization efforts through intensive work with their go-to-market approach, targeted support for their business development efforts including sales and pilot strategy, obtaining expert feedback on messaging and milestone achievement, and high level advisory from specific emerging tech investors, to successfully commercialize their solutions.

  1. Provide emerging tech companies with relevant resources to build scalable, economically impactful companies – Springboard’s programs have an 19-year track record of proven results and are designed to give entrepreneurs resources and access to experts relevant to their near-term challenges.

  2. Targeted help for commercialization – Emerging tech companies have particular challenges and opportunities that hinge on the successful adoption of their solutions into their sales targets. This program will focus intensively on removing the barriers to successful adoption through messaging, sales and business development strategy, and go-t0-market strategy.

  3. Targeted help for funding strategy – Emerging tech companies often have a balancing act between large capital needs and lengthy sales cycles. This program will pair entrepreneurs with seasoned emerging tech investors to provide advice with how to present their companies for funding, funding size, projected revenue and milestones.

  4. Helpful, feedback driven environment – The entire program is designed to be entrepreneur-centric, with direct and honest feedback in an atmosphere of support that is a signature of Springboard’s programs.

Criteria for applying companies

  • Seed to Series A stage

  • Have a woman in a key senior leadership position with a significant equity stake

  • Have a working, market-ready version of its enterprise (B2B) technology

  • Product offering that utilizes an emerging technology, such as blockchain, AI, or machine learning
